Oberhessen is situated in the centre (British English) of Hessen. Today, an accurate geographical allocation is difficult to locate. Roughly said: Oberhessen covers the area to the north of Frankfurt and includes the communities Buedingen, Nidda, Glauberg, Echzell, Ranstadt, Hirzenhain, Gedern, Ortenberg, Limeshain, Kefenrod and Schotten.
Oberhessen offers much, economically and culturally. The proximity to Frankfurt makes Oberhessen attractive for the settlement of enterprises. The wonderful natural landscape invites round for relaxation.
